Coronavirus (COVID-19)

If you are planning on travelling distance to attractions, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you, or any of your party have a new persistant cough, or develop a fever of 38C, we would instead advise you to use the NHS's dedicated website for professional advice.

Fleet Air Arm Museum

The Fleet Air Arm Museum is one of the largest aviation museums extending over 6.5 acres. Come and experience the exciting development of Britain's Flying Navy. In a succession of superb exhibits read the stories of the men and women of naval aviation. There is something for everyone with more than 50 historic aircraft, supported by hundreds of rare photographs, documents, medals and uniforms. Why not 'FLY' aboard our own 'aircraft carrier'. While you are on board you can tour the carrier's nerve centre and experience at close hand the thrills, noises and danger of a working flight deck. The museum's ability to cater for all ages and interests, come rain or shine, is enhanced by excellent facilities, including free car & coach park and facilities for the disabled. We also have a restuarant, children's adventure playground, picnic area, large gift and book shop and NEW entertainments centre. NEW Leading Edge Exhibition opens summer 2000. Special group rates available for pre-booked groups
